Apparently tickets are going for UNDER face value on the net.

Yeah, I saw one on Stubhub for $156 which I would be willing to pay probably.  I just couldn't afford to pay for parking...

That surprises me. Both fan bases travel well and it’s an opportunity to go to Miami in the middle of winter.

The demand for these kinds of tickets has been dwindling the last few years.  Most people can't afford to do it often, and many fans have crossed the experience off their bucket list a time or two in the last 10 years.  Plus, I've heard flights from Birmingham, Huntsville, and Nashville are all pricey for the surrounding dates.

I haven't been in Tide Pride in several years, and they sent me an email saying if I wanted to order NCG tickets through them then they would probably have some for me.

There’s probably more truth than humor there.

One of my workers told me student tickets to the NCG are $550.  I guess a lot of fans figure if their team makes the championship that’s the better game to attend, and if their team doesn’t win they’d rather not be there.

I wouldn’t even consider going if it wasn’t an almost all expenses paid kind of trip. I haven’t even been to a game in Tuscaloosa during the two seasons I’ve been back home due to the costs.
