Alabama & Georgia’s last two matchups included 290 plays.  Bama led for only 9 of them (3%), but won both games.

Wow! Interesting. Georgia fan soul crushers; both of them.

Kirby Smart (about the fake punt):

"We had that play ready, were supposed to snap the ball fast, our receiver was uncovered, but we waited so long to snap the ball that Alabama covered the receiver.  It was there early, but we didn't get the ball snapped."

"Josh Jacobs played sick, on empty stomach needing 2 IVs and won MVP"

Jacobs was sick enough that he had not eaten since 6 p.m. Friday when he forced down a bowl of soup.

On an empty stomach, he ran for 83 yards on eight attempts and two touchdowns. The only source of nourishment, Jacobs said, came in the form of IVs. He got fluids before the game and at halftime.

So you try a fake punt, 4th and 11 at midfield, where Bama only needed a FG to take the lead?  Georgia fans must be livid.

Kirk Herbstreit just gave his top 4:

1.  Alabama
2.  Clemson
3.  Georgia
4.  Notre Dame

I like it, and I think it is accurate.  We will see what they do tomorrow, but if it comes out like that expect 8 teams next year.

I am not sure ND belongs in that bunch but how about UCF? RTR!
North Dakota State also is 12-0.  Why not put them in the playoffs too.   Laughing

Tua, Jalen, and John Parker Wilson entered yesterday t-2nd in Alabama history with 47 career TDs. Tua broke the tie with his TD pass to Jalen Waddle. Then Jalen Hurts tied him again with his TD pass to Jerry Jeudy.

Whatever happened to our first quarter play, even first half?  We used to blow opponents out before halftime.  If we go back to a fast start, we'll roll over anybody.

I mentioned it earlier in the season that teams weren't checking our receivers at the LOS. Teams figured that out and started being physical with our small (albeit fast) receivers. Georgia was very physical with our receivers and it created problems for us, most of the game.
