TIDE WINS but refs have found a way to delay the game. 90-86.

Thanks. Very good game, especially for Tide. Unknown guy Alex Reese with 19 points had excellent game, and 17 year old Lewis has 24.

Thanks so much MD glad your back my friend. Now I have a question for you. What is your opinion why we lost to a less talented school like N'eastern? RTR!

Thanks MD, now I know this game is worth my time to watch.  I guess I will hop back on the bandwagon for a little bit.

I think they took Northeastern for granted and came out flat and unmotivated. We beat a quality team today.

I wonder if CAJ wore them out at practice leading into the season?

Nice win for the Tide. 31-33 from the FT line. WOW!

We improve to 4-1 on the season. We close out November with Murray St at home next Monday 11/26 and on the road at 2017 Football National Champions UCF on Thursday 11/29. Both are very good teams. UCF beat us in Tuscaloosa last year.

Alex Reese is a sophomore.  He was the number 2 recruit in the State of Alabama out of H.S. (per ESPN).  Scout.com had him as the No. 58 player nationally.  And he was the 2017 AHSAA 6A State Player of the Year.  He averaged 20 points and 10 RBs per game his senior season (2016-17).  I remember him playing last year.

It was awesome to beat Wichita State.  Not only are they a quality name team, but I found their fans to be know-it-all jerks.  They have been in the NCAA Tournament 7 years in a row, making the Final Four in 2013 and Sweet Sixteen in 2015.

Maybe all hope is not lost on Bama basketball.  They're young and need to gel as a team.  FT shooting came from another dimension.  But they need to work hard on defensive rebounding -- like MD I found it frustrating how many second and third attempts they gave WS.

Reese really put in a lot of work in the off-season reshaping his body.  He's stronger, yet lighter, this year.  It's helping him a lot with explosion around the basket.  Ingram is also much stronger and leaner than last year.

Did you hear me screaming at the TV, too? You listening in through my computer or smart TV?

I was too busy yelling at the defense to listen to you.

Besides, your house is boring to listen in on... it's usually quiet.   Wink

I remember him playing but he was very tentative as a freshman. Unknown quantity and performer is what I was referring to, not him as a player. He was a most pleasant surprise and I was concerned that he might be a bust. Now, can he keep it going & continue improving?

My question is Alabama growing in their BB skils now with FT's being hit regular? RTR!

They worked so hard on their FTs that they've forgotten how to rebound.
