Bob Stoops might have been preparing Oklahoma to play in the College Football Playoff instead of speaking at the USO Mayor's Luncheon in Mobile on Friday. But Stoops retired on June 7, turning the Sooners football program over to Lincoln Riley after compiling a 190-48 record as Oklahoma's coach from 1999 through 2016.

Well I must say I am surprised but I give Stoops his credit of saying what he did. There is not a lot of folks that will that statement. RTR!
