Jonathan Allen 'optimistic' about returning from injury before Washington Redskins' season ends

When the Washington Redskins play the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday night, they won't have 2017 first-round draft choice Jonathan Allen in their defensive line. The former Alabama All-American hasn't played since fracturing his foot on Oct. 15, and Thursday night's game will be the seventh that he's missed.
