Does anybody know of a link where I can listen to whatever post-game there may be left?  I've tried every station online that I know of in B'ham, H'ville, Tuscaloosa, and 1 in Mobile.  Nothing is working.   Angry

That was the first one I tried.  An advertisement plays, and then there's dead silence.  I think I've only been able to listen on JOX maybe two or three times ever.

Bama may have erased all doubt as to who is the #1 team in the country. We'll see what LSU does tonight. Anyone that appreciates a dominating defense will hold the Tide up as a shining example.

Coach Bryant always said a good defense would beat a good offense. Glad we're still believers.

Okay, let's get the SEC Season going.

The thread is set up early so anyone at the stadium can post.  "Hello, guys, you out there?"

I tried to touch base with you guys but I could never get the website to come up on my phone, sorry about that. My biggest surprise of the game was how few hog fans were in attendance. It was a great game for Bama and the crowd, one that could pave the way toward their ultimate goal, another national championship.

I did have something interesting happen on my way to the stadium. I stopped by Brunos to get some meat and a vehicle parked next to me with a Missouri tag on it. I noticed that they were wearing Bama shirts so I asked if they had made the trip down for the game. It was a father and his two sons and they were ecstatic about telling me that they had. I asked them how they had ties with Bama and were fans and the dad said that he grew up in Southern California and grew up being an Alabama fan and his sons have followed suit, none of them ever attended Bama.

I asked for their take on Missouri coming to the SEC and they felt like Missouri would move over in the end and they couldn't wait for it to happen. We shared some football take and went on our different ways.

I was very surprised at how they are such big fans and it only goes to show you that you don't have to attend and graduate from the University to be a passionate and great fan. Roll Tide!!

Ah, J, you carried our CRS flag well.  E-cred for ambassador duty.

I love to visit with fans like that, enjoy seeing the fanhood torch passed generation to generation.  Cool, thanks.

J, I became a Bama fan while I was a small kid living in South Florida before we moved to Alabama. My grandfather on my mother's side was an Alabama fan even though he lived in Hattiesburg, Miss., and influenced me early, and successfully, to be a Bama fan. When I got older, I asked him one time how he came to be a Bama fan. He said growing up in the south in the late 1800's and early 1900's, things were a lot different. Southerners were looked down upon as inferior in the eyes of the rest of the country. Then came along little old Alabama, not even the first invite, and beat mighty Washington in the 1926 Rose Bowl. He said that one event put the South back on the map, at least in his eyes, and gave a lot of Southerners something to hang there hat on. He became a huge Alabama fan that day and stayed one until the day he died. He died of a heart attack while watching the 1975 Mizzou vs Bama game, where we lost 20-7. That was an immensely sad night for yours truly.

A wonderful story and sad for your dad but he was doing what he truly loved when he passed. I wish I could have met him.  Cheesy
