I like Bama's chances but Petrino will have something for our defense.

I just checked the SEC site.  They have one Arkansas game on there, but you have to pay to watch it.

I can't remember my On The Go password or I would pm it to ya'   Angry

That's OK.  I don't really have time to watch it right now any way.

Honestly, I have not seen Ark play this year.  I do know that CBP will have them ready.  What little I saw of their QB last year, he looked impressive.
Havent seen them play? Hell, folks on this board would still comment even if they have never heard of them? Don't let little things like facts and knowledge slow you down!

I don't think they have been on TV yet.  I am basing my comments on studying the stat sheets for their first 3 games today.  So there.
They rolled up huge #s against Missouri St. and New Mexico, until they ran into that stonewall Troy. Ronnie Wingo is avg 5.2 yds rushing, but I'll bet ecreds that goes south. Tyler Wilson has a 68 cmp%, but I'll bet that goes south.HTH

I just watched a little.  It looks like they try to isolate their playmakers on a defender.  They don't have to substitute much so it will be hard to sub.  I would not be surprised if Bama pllays their nickle package most of the night.   Troy did move the ball on them in the first quarter, that I watched.  They got by the CB's and missed a field goal their first drive.

That is about what I expected.  I think they will be tough on O, but their D will be our chance to get the advantage IMO.  This is how it always goes with CBP.

Since the Troy game stayed within reach, Arkansas had to show more than they wanted, went deeper into their playbook. CNS has gotta like that.

I noticed in their boxscore they went 0-2 kicking.

off topic ...

but I have to ask

Tony Romo ?  after he cracks a few ribs  ?
why does he play more like Tom Brady than his usual Joey Harrington impression ?

Maybe they need to hit him in the gut with a baseball bat before every game.

Back to Arkansas.  They seem to be pass happy again this year.  It is probably because their primary RB was hurt during camp and will miss the year.

Here's some basic facts I found out about Arkansas:

They return 15 starters, 6 offense 7 defense 2 kickers (counting the kicker & punter as starters)
They lost their starting QB
They finished 5th in the SEC in giving up 22.8 points a game & giving up total yardage, and 10th in giving up rushing yards.

I think they are in big trouble.
