If it were a popularity contest between peronalities, I would agree with you HL. But I have to look at all he accomplished: booming economy, lower taxes, bringing back overseas corporations to the U.S. and ironically, what he's accomplished with world peace.

As childish as he acted, he had America's best interest at heart. He's a business man, not a politician, which is what we've needed for decades.

Unfortunately, the idiots we have in this country thought of it as a popularity contest and voted for the one with the least offensive personality.

Yuge mistake.

While I certainly agree with his policies moreso than the left, and agree with most of the accomplishments you listed, he doesn't put America first.   He puts his own ego first.   He has no leadership qualities whatsoever.  He's fired everyone who has disagreed with him and fostered divisiveness.

I blame him for the loss of the Senate, which will likely prove more costly than the presidential election.

He calls a spade a spade. Politicians don't like that. He's not a politician. That's why he does it. And they ALL have egos, but many of them could care less about America. It's all about personal gain.

I did not like the way Trump ran his mouth and spouted out on social media constantly. Overall he was one of our most effective presidents IMO. I liked his policies and what he was able to do with the economy was amazing. His lasting legacy may be the three supreme court justices and many lower court appointments he put on the bench during his term.

I do not know if the election was stolen or not. I suspect it was. There is too much evidence to not investigate. Trump hurt himself though. The first debate where he acted like an ass was difficult to forget. However, he still got 74M votes. That should have been enough to get him elected.

I am extremely concerned with the direction of our country. Losing the Georgia senate elections will hurt more than losing the presidency.

Our best case scenerio is a fine line. Hopefully, they will expose who they really are, and we recapture the senate in 2 years. We just have to hope that the damage they do to this country is not irreversable.

The King wanted to go fishing, and he asked the royal weather forecaster the forecast for the next few hours.

The palace meteorologist assured him that there was no chance of rain.
So, the King and the Queen went fishing.  On the way he met a man with a fishing pole riding on a donkey, and he asked the man if the fish were biting.

The fisherman said, "Your Majesty, you should return to the palace! In just a short time I expect a huge rain storm."

The King replied: "I hold the palace meteorologist in high regard.  He is an educated and experienced professional.  Besides, I pay him very high wages.  He gave me a very different forecast. I trust him."

So, the King continued his way.

However, in a short time a torrential rain fell from the sky.  The King and Queen were totally soaked.

Furious, the King returned to the palace and gave the order to fire the meteorologist.

Then he summoned the fisherman and offered him the prestigious position of royal forecaster.

The fisherman said, "Your Majesty, I do not know anything about forecasting.  I obtain my information from my donkey.  If I see my donkey's ears drooping, it means with certainty that it will rain."

So, the King hired the donkey.

And so began the practice of hiring dumb asses to work in influential positions of government.

And thus, the symbol of the democrat party was born.

The practice is unbroken to this day.

States like Texas, New Mexico, California, Michigan, Illinois, New York, and all of New England that have invested heavily in new green energy are facing blackouts this summer. The green energy policies have weakened their electrical grid. Why they would take existing coal, oil, and natural gas power plants online while basically experimenting with new technology baffles me.

My brother who works for TVA predicts brown outs for us within 5 years.  The EPA is making things darn near impossible.  TVA has been running 98-99% max capacity at times this summer.
