When in Venezuela on business many years ago, we came in from work to the Maricaibo Hilton to find they were having a beauty contest by the pool..we sat down to take in the "sights"...all the local Venez. girls were, shall we say, more than a bit "hirsute"..most would have made a dog jump from a meat wagon.  The very pretty girls were from Columbia! And let me teel you, they were something!

But Luis, our interpreter and driver filled us in ...there is racism in SA...the "beautiful" people are the ones with Spanish blood...the others are "meztizos" or "indios" ..and they do make a difference with people.

I do not know the customs in Venezuela or SA about wearing underpants.
