Game notes: Bama vs Arkansas

They are taught to play in phase.  They do seem to look for the ball late.  I know in man coverage the cover guy has to depend on reading the keys of the rec's body language/eyes to let them know the ball is on the way.  Also they should be getting a ball call from other DBs and sideline guys.  I just wonder is it to loud to hear in these stadiums.  I will also say some of these balls that have been completed have been outstanding throws that have been fit in some small windows.

Glad Marlon was upset but that's got to translate to better play on the field.  If they are going to kick it up a few notches, this week would be a good time to do it.

Sometimes, I have to wonder are the coverages so complicated that it actually takes away some of the athletic ability?  What I am saying here could you simplify things and allow great athletes to make plays instead of having to process so much.

I've wondered that myself, but I think back to 2011 when we had stellar DB play. What happened between then and now?

Different athletes act differently in games.  Some think more clear than others.  I am not saying these guys are not intelligent enough.  But also look at some of these passes that are basically perfect throws.
