LOVE this song.  Back in 2004 when I first bought this album I used to put this song on repeat and listen to it over and over again.

I love the reverb on the guitars, I can understand the lyric just yet. I think he talking about the Saviour is that right? Now I could listen to him run that fretboard all day. Picking and runing is all good. Great find My brother! RTR!

Hey the lyrics are so great, because he comes to know he needs the Saviour. I love the sound too, he works a great foot pedal and that Lead is distorted good. He sound like KIZZ to me. When I was out in the world doing what people do I loved KIZZ. RTR!

If ya'll like that kind of music, I can hook you up for sure.  I used to love secular rock and roll music.  I liked Kiss too, along with Guns N Roses, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, and tons of others.  One day I realized that although I loved that style of music, a lot of times the lyrics were atrocious at worse, and neutral at best.  So one day I just stopped listening to that stuff.  Well it wasn't long until I began to discover Christian bands that played hard rock music that I liked even better.

One of the comments on the youtube page also noticed the Smells Like Teen Spirit connection.  I'm sure Skillet, like every 90's rock band, was influenced by Nirvana.  I wouldn't put Skillet in this category, but in the mid-late 90's a lot of Christian bands were blatant rip-offs of secular bands.

My son went to the Skillet concert at Alabama Adventure Park in June. He and a neighbor's boy went. I bought my son a season pass for $50 dollars and he goes to the concerts, rides the rides and goes swimming. For a 16 year old, it keeps him busy during the summer months when he is not working the cash register at Winn-Dixie.
