Bama57 beat me to my guess of 35-17 so I'll take 35-12 Bama   Cool

Apparently you're allowed another prediction, should Alabama fail.

98 to NOTHING!  HTH.

Maybe this is the week, SC.   Applause E-Cred

If it is ever 49 to nothing at half time I will declare victory.  We almost made that against Auburn in Chizik's last year.

This after studying intently all trials and tribulations of the lobotomizing to be done:
Alabama-33
Ole Miss-32
God Bless America.
RTR!

You can't use that score. That is the score of the Alabama-Ole Miss game in 1969. The game made Archie Manning a household name. First prime-time college football game on TV. I was a young teenager and watched the game. Manning had over 500 total yards by himself. What a game. The Tide won, rest of the season was crap for Tide.

I was there; Legion Field; 1969.  Best game I'd ever seen.
Thanks, Ricky.

My mother and I were watching that game on TV. The power went out midway through the 4th quarter. We were going crazy. It finally came back on for us to see the end of the game.

33-32 is a hallow grounds football score.

You know MD as a youngster I had never heard of Archie Manning in Black and White till that day. I then at that young age thought he was the single best football player in the nation and nobody could beat him for that big Trophy as I thought of it back then. Was that not when Archie Griffin won the Heisman or am I wrong on that one? RTR!

Steve somebody RB from Oklahoma won the Heisman in 1969. The stat that stood out to me even then was he had a per rush average of around 4 yards a carry. Basically, he ran off tackle and up the middle. That was an awful year for the Heisman in my opinion. In 1970, Archie missed 4-6 games with a broken arm & Jim Plunkett, QB for the Stanford Indians won it. Incidentally, Plunkett led the 8-3 Indians to a victory over unbeaten & #1 ranked Ohio State in the Rose Bowl.
