In a somewhat unusual -- and for whatever reason, long-delayed -- move, members of the Michigan football team will receive rings this weekend for their victory over Alabama in the 2000 Orange Bowl.

Led by four touchdowns passing from Tom Brady, the Wolverines beat the SEC champion Crimson Tide 35-34 in overtime that night in south Florida. Alabama's Ryan Pflugner missed an extra point on the final play...

Although printed on April 1st, it's apparently not a joke (to Michig-idiots).  But the rest of the football world thinks differently!

I'm sure the players can't wait to get their rings and to find a local pawn shop to see what their value is.

Can you say "Ebay"?

Can't cost Michigan a lot of money. There can't be that many still alive, right?

I was at that game.  Two great players on display, S. Alexander and Tom Brady, who brought Michigan from behind to send it to OT.  The finish was deflating, a missed PAT.  Dubose should have run Alexander for the 2 point conversion, Michigan couldn't stop it.
