I flew into Seattle today for a business trip with meetings starting tomorrow. I went to a sports bar to watch the game. All these folks watch are NFL games. I had the whole bar pulling for Bama at the end of the game

Big win for the Tide. We are much more competitive than ithoughtwe would be this year.

Another great win for the boys tonight, it was a road win. I thought the team did some things extremely well tonight, especially their offensive rebounds. The sad part of all that is we didn't get the number of points off the rebounds that we should have. The boys played much better in the first half, especially shooting, than they did in the second but I'm sure Clemson made some major adjustments and it affected the team in the second half.

It's nice when the team can get wins, especially on the road, as they are still learning about themselves. One thing is for certain though, they are not quitters. That is 5 games in a row on the road which is very tough on the team. They get to go home now and play one game against Winthrop, Wednesday night, and then go to Birmingham to play Oregon in the Civic Center. The Oregon game will actually be like another road game for Bama. The Oregon game is Dec. 21st at 8 pm for any of you in that area who have been wanting to see them play.

Looking ahead, there's a very good chance Bama goes into conference play at 10-2.  With 10+ conference wins, which seems likely based on how they're playing right now, and with the non-conference schedule, Bama would be in great shape for an at-large bid to the tourney.

They actually won a close game again. This is one thing that has been missing in the past. One point wins count just as much as 10 point wins and we have been losing them in the past few years. RTR!
