Great. Glad you're home just in time to watch the TIDE ROLL.
I caught Pneumonia in August 2 years ago. I was in ICU for 9 days and 6 more days in a regular room. Scary.
RTR!
So sorry to hear of this man. I am glad to hear you got through it ok though. I actually had been sick for about 9 days leading up to my hospitalization, and knew something wasn't quite right. C-Scan confirmed it in my left lung, but not full blown, thank God. Caught it at the start is what Doc says. They kept misdiagnosing me there for a bit.Said I had a clot on my lung, only to recant and say no,it was just the pneumonia. Also told me I had a hernia, which test concluded otherwise. I feel blessed to just be home already. Most folks I know,or know of wind up like you with a lengthy illness and confinement. Take care
I am glad you're home. Hospitals are a scary place to be. I felt bad in June and July 2009. My regular doctor gave me predinsone and antibotics. Then another round and another. I woke up in the hospital, in the ICU after 6 days. Those doctors gave me IV antibotics every 4 hours. I had it in both lungs. Now I take a breathing treatment of albuterol .083 solution each morning and night. That is all the medicine I take. I feel great. I have a history of asthma. I was weak for a while though. I keep prednisone and antibotics at home now. Just in case, my dr. said don't wait to start taking it if I start having breathing issues.
Take care and enjoy the football season. RTR!
