I saw this on the Yahoo website this morning as a Fox Sports article.  When I checked back 20 minutes later after telling someone for a laugh it was gone.  It's getting pretty bad when someone will quote Twitter for a sports story.  The article quoted three Tweets.  The first was Kiffin had a fight with Saban and was fired, Kiffin got caught having sex with a booster's wife, and the third that Kiffin was caught sleeping with Saban's daughter.  It's sad how many haters jumped on the article to slam Saban and Kiffin.  Most folks commenting were taking bunk Twitter garbage as factual.  Anyone who has seen Layla Kiffin would have a hard time believing the last two...

Sounds like slander to me.

Except Twitter isn't entirely anonymous.  I think someone recently won a pretty big settlement against a guy who spread false info via Twitter.

You can easily go back and see who made the first tweets and what they said.  It started with a Facebook page called 'The Real NCAA', or something like that, alleging Kiffin had slept with a booster's wife.  Within about three tweets it had become Saban's daughter.  As far as I can tell, not one moderately respectable news organization has even mentioned the rumors. 

Not that Saban or Kiffin need the money, but if I was them and there's no truth to the rumors I would pursue legal action against the people who started this.

I agree.  There comes a point where it isn't about the money but rather about simply right and wrong.  Whoever started those tweets and whoever added to them, IMO, did a horrible injustice to each person mentioned, especially Kiffin and Coach Saban's daughter...  Go after them and hit them hard..
