Game Three -- Championship

Florida up 3-0 in the first inning.  They aren't messing around.

Florida's first batter got to first base Hit-By-Pitch.  What I don't understand is she was doing that slap technique    and stepped in front of the plate when she was hit.  Her foot was out of the batter's box in front of the plate.  I don't think she should get first base for that, but then I've never seen any slappers in men's baseball.

Write this down: "Women are different."

 

That goes without saying.   

My wife played softball (catcher) and has a similar opinion to me -- not sure how running at the ball improves your odds of hitting it, seems like it would make it more difficult.

Meechigan in deep do-do. They have 3 outs left to tie or win game. UF pitching looking strong.

Florida wins the national championship in softball.

Not a bad day for the SEC. LSU men's golf won NC earlier in the day, now UF women's softball wins another NC.
