 The college football careers of Tovar Allen, Leon Brown, Melvin Meggs, Jonathon Mincy and Taylor Pontius had at least one thing in common: Each played for an Alabama school. Their professional careers already have one thing in common, too: Each beat the odds by going to an NFL rookie minicamp as a tryout player and coming away with a contract.
