#6 SMU just lost to #11 UCLA. The "experts" said UCLA did not belong in the Tourney. SMU is in the best conference, too.

Well I sure thought UCLA belonged in the tourney MD but I really didn't think that upset would happen. I didn't see the game but I got to figure SMU didn't show up from the times I saw them play over the winter. I don't either loss hurt me past the 2nd round. RTR!

LSU didn't score a field goal during the final 10 minutes of play, missed 12 fg in a row, and missed 5 straight foul shots to lose by 1.  Amazing!

 

Of course, I knew NC State would win!   Smiley

So did LSU!

They were dominating the game, but suddenly it all stopped.  Consider this...

There's just no way to rationalize it, really. LSU missed its last 18 shots combined from the field and free-throw line. Dating back to the Auburn game, the Tigers haven't made a field goal in the final 19 combined minutes of regulation. It blew a 16-point lead, its 3rd double-digit second-half advantage squandered this season.
