Dont'a Hightower becomes Alabama's 26th Super Bowl winner despite torn labrum

Linebacker Dont'a Hightower became the 26th former Alabama player on the active roster of the Super Bowl winner when the New England Patriots defeated the Seattle Seahawks 28-24 in the NFL championship game on Sunday night. Hightower made five tackles, including stopping running back Marshawn Lynch just short of the goal line on Seattle's next-to-last snap of Super Bowl XLIX.
