When the Carolina Panthers signed safety Roman Harper as part of their secondary overhaul in the offseason, they hoped the former Alabama standout would provide leadership. Harper came to Carolina with eight years of experience in the NFC South, two Pro Bowl appearances and a Super Bowl ring with the New Orleans Saints
