Defensive players top the Alabama highlights from NFL's preseason finales

 Three former Alabama standouts tackled the challenge of extra playing time in the final games of the NFL preseason on Thursday night. The NFL concluded its preseason schedule with 16 games mostly devoid of the players who will take the majority of the snaps when the regular season starts on Sept. 4. But some players likely put themselves in line for more playing time with the way they closed the preseason.
