2020 4-Star defensive end, Alfred Collins, remains one of the Crimson Tide’s top targets in the 2020 recruiting class as National Signing Day gets closer.

The 4-Star defensive end released his final three schools on Sunday via Twitter and Alabama looks to be right in the mix for his signature.

Collins will choose between Alabama, Texas and Oklahoma on Feb. 5 from Cedar Creek High School.

It's in Texas, Preacher. Unfortunately, I just saw another report that says he's not expected to sign with Bama. Others are, however.

Texas.  Why do you think he has Big12 schools on his list?   Laughing

As of today, Bama has taken over the #1 spot in the recruiting rankings.

Quote
Just over a week out from National Signing Day, the Crimson Tide is back on top of the recruiting world, taking over the No. 1 spot from Clemson on Tuesday on the 247Sports Composite Team Recruiting Rankings.

Alabama had several big movers in the final edition of the Top247 for the 2020 class, including defensive tackle Timothy Smith earning his fifth star, athlete Drew Sanders maintaining his spot among the top-rated recruits, weak-side defensive end Will Anderson jumping into the top five of the rankings, and quarterback Bryce Young being named the No. 1 overall player in the America.

The Tide's score currently stands at 310.93. Clemson fell to No. 3 in the standings with a score of 309.73. Georgia is in the 2-spot with 309.76. Of course, National Signing Day is eight days away, so standings are subject to change with teams still working to land final additions to their classes.

They will learn. Don't give CNS time out of the playoffs to recruit. He will win the war every time. RTR!

National Signing Day:

Already ranked as the No. 1 team in the country, the Tide may not be done yet. The most likely big target left on the board is McKinnley Jackson, a native of Mississippi that hit January as one of the most high-profile uncommitted prospects in the country. Alabama holds most of the 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions for the nation's No. 9 DT and the recent hire of former Ole Miss assistant Freddie Roach as its DL coach is another boost for the Tide.

McEachern (Ga.) receiver Javon Baker chose not to sign with Alabama last month, despite being committed to the Crimson Tide since November 2018.

His high school teammate, defensive lineman Jamil Burroughs, also waited to sign after committing to the Tide in October 2019.

Now, it looks like the McEachern teammates – two of only four Alabama commitments who chose not to sign on Early Signing Day – will sign as expected Wednesday...

That would be great news indeed! Georgia picked up that crazy RB that put them over us for the #1 recruiting spot. This would put as back to the top spot, I would think.
