He won't be a 3-star player by the fall semester.

"Alabama gets commitment from 3-star O-lineman in Class of 2020"

We missed this news last week.  Another 3-star player who is expected to rise in stardom very soon.  Offensive lineman Seth McLaughlin, a Class of 2020 player, has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson and others.  He is Alabama's first OL commitment for 2020.

4-STAR SAFETY COMMIT ON GOOD FRIDAY:

Alabama wins another recruiting battle in the Peach State, this time for Top 100 safety Brian Branch.

The Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek product committed to the Crimson Tide on Friday night over Oklahoma and Tennessee.

Every time I go up there its just a family vibe, Branch said of why Alabama. I just feel like Im home and I can spend the next four years of my life there.

Bama has beaten UGA in back-to-back years; maybe recruits are getting smarter.

It is good to see the change in coaches and still winning recruits from other places. RTR!

Alabama football made a splash on the recruiting trail Monday night as Top50 athlete Drew Sanders flipped his commitment from Oklahoma to Alabama following an official visit to Tuscaloosa.

The 6-foot-5, 222-pounder from Denton (Texas) Ryan is recruited as an outside linebacker by the Tide. Defensive backs coach Karl Scott led the charge on the dynamic prospect.

Sanders is rated the No. 3 athlete and the No. 36 overall player in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings. He had been committed to the Sooners since 2017.
