Devotional 6/24/11 Accursed

Galatians 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Today we have so many preachers that are falsely trying to preach a gospel that is not coherent with the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is wrong and is done in a way to bring pain and death to those who receive it.
We read in Galatians very plainly that "those who preach any other gospel" will be accursed. Who are these people? They are ministers, preachers, pastors, or any other person who changes the words of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They tell you that you are doing fine. You need to keep paying your tithes more than listening to the true gospel. They preach to you that if you sin it is ok as long as your works are great, other words if you are a good fellow or good lady.
I am here to tell you that the gospel does not say you are alright or that being a good old boy or being a dainty lady doing good works means your good.
Remember to discern between the spirits and know if you are being lead by a hear say gospel. Check in your own Bible if what is being preached is what you read and understand. Today I have a burden for the lost and I pray you will become Saved. God Bless!

Absolutely agree, brother ricky. My pastor is doing a series on Amos right now and is talking about some similar things.
