Why do tons of people sign up every day to become members here...and then never post. Sad  Most don't even seem to lurk. It doesn't make sense.

Any theories...or input from people who have been mods on other forums?

Not really.  Most of the new memberships are email addresses rather than unique screen names.  I just thought it might be some jokesters from another site doing a lot of it.  

Oh well, it's interesting....but not worth wasting a lot of time worrying about. Cheesy

It is a good question. I lurk on several boards with no intention of posting so I don't join. You can read this board without signing up. I see more guests online than members most of the time.
