I'm sorry for your issue 2.  It also seems like when it rains, it pours. 

On Wednesday the 17th I woke up with a crick in my neck.  I took off that Friday and then on Saturday when I woke up I was barely able to get out of bed as the pain was in my neck, shoulders and radiating down my right arm. Even my thumb was tingling and numb.  This past Monday I finally went to a chiropractor (Dr 1). He did some stuff but I didn't really get any relief.  I went back on Tuesday but again didn't get much help. Then Wednesday I went to another chiropractor (DR 2). This one took a couple of X-rays.  On Thursday I went back and she adjusted me after showing that I have a bone spur on one of my vertebrae. When I left Dr 2 I decided I would go back to Dr 1 again.  So I drove about 40 miles back to him.  He was closed. So I drove all over Scottsboro looking for another chiropractor hoping to get some relief.  One place I called told me outright that they don't have any openings.  I decided to go there anyways hoping that if I were in their office they would at least work me in.  NOPE! I eventually find a chiropractor who will see me (Dr 3).
Dr 3 takes about 8-10 X-rays and then he gives me a very aggressive adjustment and puts me in some gentle traction. I leave feeling much better and instructions to come back later in the day.  About 3:30 I went back and he again adjusts me and tells me to start taking about 800 MG of Ibuprofen to reduce the inflammation.  I went back to him again Friday for another adjustment and traction.  I have now been taking 800 MG of Ibuprofen for almost 48 hours (I actually started on Thursday afternoon) and occasionally I take a Hydrocodone 7.5)  Nothing is helping reduce the pain.  I am miserable and having a lot of difficulty sleeping. Dr 3 is trying to get an MRI scheduled because he thinks I likely have a bulging disk. Man!  This stuff sucks...

N.AL-Tider Mrs Dottie and I are praying for you because as you know I have been there. So know when you begin to mess with anything spinal all the way to the neck pain is horrible. Lord let the mighty hand of GOD guide his doctors to remove asnything with pain. RTR!

NALT - sorry you're dealing with pain.  Sounds like you need something more/other than a chiro though.

2 - pretty sure you have to be an athlete to get a sports hernia.     But seriously, I hope they can get you healed up soon.

NALT, do I ever feel your pain. I'm surprised no one has pointed you to an orthopedic specialist. At any rate, I hope you get relief.

HL, when I told a friend of mine that, he said "I didn't know you could get a sports hernia from drinking beer". Everybody's a comedian.

Good 2's day folks.  It has been a tough weekend with this pinched nerve.  I have another appointment with the Chiropractor (DR-3) tomorrow afternoon but after the night I had last night, I'm going to give him a surprise visit today.  Hopefully too they will have good news on me getting an mri. 

I will say this though, if you have good, or even decent health, be thankful and enjoy it.  It truly is a blessing that we tend to take for granted...

Amen NALT! I’m sitting at the doctor’s office right now, hoping to find out if I have a hernia or something else. It doesn’t pair well with the back issues, I can tell you that.

Got in from Orlando and it was the craziest of times this year. A shooting in Orlando just down from us and the traffic in Atlanta was devasting. Then again home safely glad to be back on Crimson Reed Sports board. God Bless to all. RTR!
