Happy Friday Eve, folks.  Things are about to turn cool this weekend and the east side of the state looks like it will see significant rainfall off Nicole.   Our launch attempt was pushed back from late early Monday morning until early Wednesday morning (middle of the night hours) to ensure employees would have enough time to take care of their homes/families if the area suffered storm damage.

Hope all goes well for the Florida folks today, and the other folks north of there who will see Nicole's storm winds and rain afterwards.  And hope the launch is perfect this time.  I see on TV that Cocoa Beach is getting 65mph winds now.

Yeah HL, I saw that and that was a good idea. My nephew and his family lives in Vero and he promised to let me know they are ok once everything passes. My brother lives in Kissimmee. I'll be calling him here shortly. Florida has really been hammered here lately.

The storm is supposed to swing up this way and hit us tonight or early morning. They're calling for 2-4 inches of rain and wind gusts to 40 MPH. Believe it or not, Greenville, SC is a hurricane remnants magnet.

I believe I heard this morning, Nicole was the first hurricane to hit the US in November in either 40 or 50 years.
