I could sure use some prayers, and of course I'm sure his family would appreciate it.  Thankfully he wasn't married and didn't have children, but he did leave behind a father and two siblings.

One of the elders in my church, a man I’d known since I was five or six years old, killed himself in June. It’s hard.

Hope everyone’s had a good Monday. I’m at a JV football game between two small Christian schools. The announcer just asked for volunteers to work the chains because the crew hadn’t made it back from McDonald’s. I’m only here because my daughter is cheering.

At the end of the first quarter the rout is on. The home team is up 30-8 having forced two three and outs, intercepted a pass, and broken two 50+ yard touchdown runs.

The Braves are just a win or two away from clinching a playoff birth, but they have a little more work to do to pass the Mets and get the first round bye.

The Braves keep winning but so do the Mets. Atlanta has stiffer competition overall the rest of the way so it will be tough to overtake the Mets.

Yep, I’ve been following the Braves too. Looks like they’re certain to make the playoffs, but wish they’d finish first ahead of the Mets.

Bit concerned about losing our CB with the ankle sprain.  Cry

We left at halftime as this cheer team is all elementary students, and I’m pretty sure little more than a scheme to get parents to buy tickets to the JV a football games.

I would like to read the article.
