A good weekend was had.  Bama won, and Auburn lost.

I was also pleased to see that Miss St lost.   Some of my MSU friends suddenly got a little too big for their britches after the week 1 win.

HL I think lsu was really that bad MSU was not that good huh. RTR!

Good Tuesday morning. We're just days away from playing the Fighting Land Kiffins. Let's hope we're practicing covering the back coming out of the backfield.

Happy 4-0. It just seems another day in a line that is getting smaller. We shall see. RTR!

Good Thursday morning!

All eyes are on the GOM and Hurricane Delta. My girls are nervous after just getting slammed by Sally, but it's looking more and more like it will make landfall in central or western La. I feel sorry for the people in Lake Charles. They haven't even recovered from Hurricane Laura. Prayers for everyone in it's path.

What's up with the Braves? They haven't won a playoff game in how many years? They weren't even expected to make the playoffs, and then their starting rotation got decimated. Don't look now, but they've had 3 shutouts in their 4 wins.

Go Braves!

The Bama-Ole Miss game is still up in the air due to Delta expecting to have Oxford in it's crosshairs. They are exploring alternate dates. Nothing has been decided yet. I think CNS wants to play it as scheduled. Skeered? He ain't skeered!

Well another day another dollar. I hope all is well with everybody. I hope the storm don't interfere with the game. It might get messy and mistakes which we don't need any help at. RTR!

I think the last time the Braves won a post-season series was back  around 1999, maybe?  This year now only have they won a post-season series, they have also won 4 straight playoff games, three of which by shutout.  That too is a very rare event for any MLB team.

You are correct, sir. They have the talent at the plate and on the field. If their pitching holds up, I like their chances.

I was glad that the National League started a trial use of the designated hitter this year.  Braves pitchers couldn't hit a beachball if their lives depended on it...

Happy Friday!

Well, the Dodgers crushed the Padres last night, so it's Braves-Dodgers for all the marbles in the NL. Both are good teams, so it should be a good series. I'm guessing the Dodgers are favored, but the Braves have been underrated all year. We'll see.

Looks like poor Lake Charles is fixing to get slammed by another powerful hurricane. God bless those people.
