That's a brilliant blue bird there, Chech. Beautiful!

Today is Mrs 2's birthday and our last day in P'cola. Head back to SC in the morning, then I'll take off for Santee, SC for our annual golf outing on Monday. The golf courses are on beautiful Lake Marion. This will be our first trip there. Looking forward to it.

British golf courses are opening today for the first time after a shutdown of 7 weeks. They have issued a lot of rules, including "don't touch the flag."    Huh?

Can't touch them over here either, OT. In fact, they put spacers in the hole so you don't reach all the way down to retrieve your ball.

They also say golfers now have to reserve a tee-off slot which supposedly most courses never required. I think you've had that already, 2, according to your posts. Not sure if all this helps or hurts your handicap.

It really hasn't changed it, OT. Once they changed the rules that you can leave the stick in, I never took it out anyway. And the spacers don't seem to be a hindrance.

Same, I never took out the flag after the rule change, but the Alabama courses have the same virus policies currently.

Good morning, sleepy heads.  Where is everybody??  Coffee

NALT, I went ahead and mowed our grass yesterday.  You didn't show up.  You get another chance in 10 days.

Looks like a new low for CRS; discussing golfballing rules about whether or not it's appropriate to "touch the stick".

Good morning folks.  It's dark outside but starting to get light. It isn't raining so that is good.  I'm debating on taking a day of leave tomorrow to get my mowing done.  We are supposed to have an increased chance of rain on Saturday and I really don't want to have to try and work around rain showers.  We will be resuming church services this Sunday.  I need to get that lawn mowed so that it will be looking good when everyone arrives.  Plus I have the two river front pacles to mow too.  Might try and catch a catfish or two while I'm there...

Happy fishing.  Fish pics are always good here.  Best of luck.

Good morning Chech and NALT.

Yep, slept in a little, getting some rest for the long drive back to SC. Love the birds, Chech. Good luck with the mowing, NALT. Hope y'all have a good day.

King James IV may have been right. He banned golf in Scotland in 1491 because "it looketh like a silly game."

That may be.  But it could also be that he banned it because he didn't want anyone playing with his balls or pulling his stick out of the hole... Maybe?

Thanks guys. We breezed through Atlanta again. There was more traffic than the last time, but no problems getting through. Good to be home.

GOOD MORNING.  Actually, it's closer to midnight.  But I didn't sleep, so here we are, having coffee.
Coffee

Good to see 2 got safely home.  I'm sure there's some remodeling or other honey-do jobs waiting.

Bison swimming the Yellowstone River.  Took this pic while Jamos was visiting YNP last summer.  Can't wait to see the ole gang again!

Morning, Chech. I know you're chomping at the bit to go. Don't go riding the bison into the geysers with over-heated bear spray, though.

I've got a full day at the office today, then tomorrow, I'll get ready for my golf trip next week. Looking forward to seeing the old gang, too, lol!

Good morning folks.  2, I'm glad you made it back to SC without incident.  That pic is great Chech.  YNP is a bucket list item for Mrs. Nalt and I.  Maybe someday...  This week my friend up in Kodiak, AK sent me two pics of people that he knows holding King Salmon they caught.  Two guys, three fish.  All three fish appeared to be in the neighborhood of about 30 pounds.  THAT is where I want to again...
