I'm not a member. I just live there. The truth of the matter is; the clubhouse grill was outsourced and their liquor license expired. Not letting that be a deterrent, they kept on selling beer & liquor. The State of SC took a really dim view of that and shut them down.

The club itself has taken over operations but has decided not to get a liquor license.

Guess since it's in your backyard, it's okay they don't have a license.  Those state agencies have no sense of humor.

I know, right?  Laughing

Good morning, NALT.

Good morning folks.  I'm up and at work (at home this week).  Glad everyone had a great weekend.  I managed to get a few things done around the house that I've been wanting to.  In particular, I started working on repacling the wood on my 5X8 utility trailer.  I bought the pressure treated lumber a few weeks ago along with some truck bed texture paint.  I put two coats of that on the side that will be the top surface.  I just hope the stuff will stick to the wood.

Hey Dude!

I've always had to wait for months before paints sticks to treated lumber.  Guess if the wood sat at the lumberyard a while it'll work.  Last batch I bought, when I reworked the deck, the lumber was wet with treatment.

Yeah, same here.  I got this from Home Depot and it was surprisingly straight lumber.  I've had it spread out in my garage since I bought it and even let it sit outside in the warm sunshine for a while yesterday before painting it.  I'm going to let this paint dry for a few days before I put it on the trailer for use.  Maybe that will let it stick.

The treated lumber is generally straighter than other.  They get the best I suppose.  Hope the paint sticks.

I remember that. I think she had a friend with her, if I remember correctly.

My golf was a little better yesterday, though all over the pacle. I had 2 birdies, 2 triple bogies and 3 double bogies on the way to an 85.

An 85 is pretty impressive considering that you were 12 over in 5 holes.  The other 13 holes were a very nice round.

I played last Saturday.  I shot a 44 on the front 9, which I was really happy with.  I broke 50 on the wrong side on the back.

That's awesome.  The best part is that it actually does run on grass.

Advice.  Don't feed the rabbit the carrots.   Keep him hungry.

NALT - not only runs on grass, it also fertilizes while it mows.

I bet they don't get stuck in the mud like my John Deere Z915 mower does.   Banging your head against the wall.

Good Tuesday morning!

It's Senior hour from 6-7 at the local Wall-Marks this morning, so I'm wearing my running shoes and I'm taking my beatin' cane with me to battle my way to the TP aisle in hopes that they stocked some last night. If there are any hoarders amongst us, I will put that beatin' cane to good use.

Great bargain, Chech!

Well, as usual, I come away disappointed in Walmart. No TP. An employee said as soon as they hit the shelves, people snatch them up and hoard them. Here's a suggestion, you morons, limit what they can get!!!

When I checked out, I asked the lady if she would deliver a friendly message to the manager. She said she would be glad to. I told her he needs to put some TP aside for the seniors. She agreed.

I hate Walmart.  Angry

Maybe Kroger.  There was plenty, several brands, yesterday at Kroger here.  Every town is different, but maybe your grocery has it.

BTW, NALT will be happy to hear I also filled my 5-gal lawnmower gas tanks.   Cool
