Check the Distributor Cap it may have cracked. RTR!
Dr. NALT, meet grease monkey rick.   Laughing

In the 60's and in the early 80's I use to work on cars of my own. I loved to drag race. RTR!

Preacher burning rubber in a dragster?   Shocked

At one time I had the old 1973 Dodge Charger w/ 340 Magnum and slap stick automatic. White with partial vinyl top and the Carter 4barrel carb. That thing would fly. I use to go to Green Valley over in Southside, Al. RTR!

Wowzer, you know more about cars than I've ever known. Maybe I saw you zooming by when I lived in Jacksonville.

Hey OT we use to go to Partners in J'ville when we was on the way to Southside to the drag race. I actually go to a lodge over there now. RTR!

We might be the only two on here who share that teritory, Preacher. It's a good place to live.

I've spent a good bit of time in Jax. My business partner lives in Orange Park and I go there regularly. I like that area a lot.

Okay, 2, I'll add you as the third savy guy about Calhoun County. Of course, now when I go back, my high school as been demolished and our house moved out of town. Never thought I'd outlive solid buildings.

There is so much change in J'ville now it is amazing, JAX ST is really big now compared to what it use to be. RTR!

OT, that's technically Duval County, but I feel your pain. The house that I grew up in, in Montgomery is no longer there. I will be going to my 50th HS reunion in April and will revisit the school, which was built in 1921.

Preacher, my best friend from 3rd grade through 12th lived about 20 minutes from high school.  His older brother had a '72 Dodge Charger with a 440 Magnum with twin 4-barrel carbs.  He could leave for school 5 minutes after the bell run to start class and get there 10 minutes before the bell rang to start class...

Good Sunday morning!

Good day for Bama sports yesterday. The ladies softball team swept for the second day in a row, and the men's basketball team annihilated Ole Miss 103-78. WTH did that come from and where's it been all year?

Chech, don't read past this if you recorded yesterday's round of golf and haven't watched it yet.

JT leads the golf tournament in Mexico and I shot an 81 yesterday.

Good morning folks. Yesterday was a good day for Bama athletics. The only bad was that Tyson Fury beat the Bronze Bomber last night. Wilder was knocked down in the 3rd and 5th rounds then one of his corner men threw the towel in in the 7th because of bleeding from the ear.

Glad you had a good round of golf ball 2. Playing again today?

I hate to hear that Wilder got beat. That's a shame. Oh well, I guess we can't have it all.

Cry  I read from the bottom up.  But don't tell me more.

Glad you played well yesterday.  I went with friends to an auction last night; boring.  Didn't buy anything.  But yesterday before that we did get the boat motor running.  When we opened the cover, a mouse had nested in it.

We kept up with the basketball game while at the auction.  Ole Miss announcer said, "It's the best Bama has played this year!"

Sorry buddy. I tried.

I just saw on SportsCenter that the Carolina Hurricanes' goalie was injured. They didn't have a backup, so they put in the Zamboni driver. They won 6-3.

I remember when it was JSTC.  One thing that hasn't changed is the Confederate statue in the square.

Thanks OT. I've actually been to my 20th, 45th and a mini-reunion last year. All of them were good. It's always good to see old friends. Last year my old long-time friend Gary Lewis, who owns the 'Rama Jama', got to go for the first time. First time I've seen him away from work in 25 years. He kept looking for burgers to flip.

Not sure exactly what's going on, but the guy that's buying it hasn't pulled the trigger yet. At least not all at once. Gary's been letting him work the pacle so it will be a smooth transition for him when the time comes.
