Good morning folks.  Cold here too but at least it isn't raining/snowing/sleeting... We are going to church this morning.  This afternoon I am hoping to go with my BIL to pick up some big cedar logs.  Was going to do that yesterday morning but the rain changed our minds...

Cry hurting so bad this morning had to call for replacement for preaching can't make church. It just breaks my heart when I can't go. Our windmill is really spinning hard. It is cold when we got up this morning. I sure hope you all have a great day and enjoy the TV golf. RTR!

Driscoll midge.  I'm still tying those tiny things.  It takes 2 pairs of glasses for me to see them while tying.  Apparently I didn't see the whisker that is projecting forward.

Another angle:

Chechem one thing is for sure you have a great gift for tieing flies because we can see that with the pics of all the fish you catch. That has to be some real enjoyment. RTR!

I hope to sleep right through the lunar eclipse tonight.

I went with my BIL this afternoon to pick up those cedar logs I mentioned.  That was ONE HUGE tree.  It produced 6 logs for me each about 9-11 feet long.  The upper most log won't make any lumber but will be fine for a fence post or just a bunch of whittling sticks. (Maybe Chech could take some of those to his knife shows...).  The butt-cut is just over 11-1/2 feet long and can easily give me a 14"X14" beam.  There aren't many cedar trees that large around these parts any longer unless they are on some "family" land...

Laughing Laughing Laughing  Well, it could be cut down to lengths around 18"-24" if that would make it easier...  Wink

Cold here too, but not as cold as there.  23 degrees.  Ice cube

Bummers on the 2 NFL games yesterday.  I'd hope for a Saints-KC game.  NOPE.
Those refs in the Saints' game will hear about that for a long time.

Stay warm, everybody.   Kiss

They should have been instantly fired. Stevie Wonder could have made that call.

BTW, I watched the moon eclipse until after 10pm.  By then it was half a moon, but not red at all.  Pretty cool, nonetheless.
