Morning boys. Woke up to 48 degrees this morning. That's a chilly October morning, even for central Maryland. Cooler weather means I may be more motivated to work on that big playset my parents gave to the kids earlier this year. 

 

It's like I told my wife one time after she was nagging me about getting something done; "I told you I'd get to it! You don't have to keep reminding me every 6 months......"

I'm hoping for a mighty fine weekend of sports.  Hopefully an NL Championship and a 12th straight win over the orange pukes.

Chech, I will be over your way (Tunica) Saturday/Saturday night.  A buddy of mine has free tickets to see Lyle Lovett and Robert Earl Keen...unfortunately starting at the same time as a potential NLCS Game 7.  Yikes.  I may have to place a (small) wager or two at the new sportsbook.

I’ve never been to an event there in Tunica. Too bad it’s not next weekend. I have a knife show there. Never been to one of those in Tunica either.

Knives called Tree Brand use to be a popular thing back in my younger day. I have several Masonic knives I have been given. RTR!

Where is the knife show being held?

It's in a shopping center in nearby Robinsonville.  That building is on the east side of Hwy 61.

Yes, Ricky, Boker Tree Brand is still a good brand (at least those still made in Germany; some are made in USA too).  Many of the old brands are being counterfeited in China, though, so you've got to watch out.  Plus, many of the old companies moved their operations to China (Schrade Old Timers, Henckels, some Kershaw, some Gerber...).

Happy Friday CRS!

It's travel day for Mrs 2 and I. Will be heading to Knoxvegas this afternoon for a River cruise with J and his family, then going to the game tomorrow. Temps will be cool at game time, but the rain should be over. I'll try to take some pics while I'm there. I just hope all that orange doesn't damage my iPhone.

It's cold here this morning (48 now and dropping).  Rain expected later today and all night; ugh.  Plus, LF and I have a date to dinner tonight.

Yes, take pics for us.  The fall colors should be nice, even if the orange mutes them a bit.
