Well had a rough night last night. I hope I can hold on to enjoy the game tonight. We got our car back yesterday and a new radiator cap and radiator, with a new thermostat cost me and Mrs Dottie 772.25 and I like to have knee crumbled when I got the cost. Man I can't afford anything like this again. Gosh I didn't know it cost so much to work on a car. RTR!

Did you really need a new radiator?  Sounds suspicious preacher.  Do you know/trust this mechanic?  I do all of my mechanic work because a trustworthy mechanic is really hard to find.

Well 2 people that I trust very much told me he did all their work. They said he did the cars like they were his own but I thought the cost was really high the Labor was like $498.00 by itself. RTR!

The price is probably about right if it actually needed a radiator.  A can of stop leak is about $10.

The Cajuns use rice.
True, but can't imagine it works well.

Might work long enough to unload it on the next Cajun.

That price sounds extremely high to me.  Replacing the radiator is a 30 minute job.  The thermostat might take and hour at most.

Preacher, what kind of car is this?  $500 for labor sounds very high to me.

I guess it depends on the car.  You might have to pull the engine to swap out the radiator.

Now radiators for those might be higher priced than what Preacher paid...

Oh sure, but the radiator cap would be $600

Still here NALT, although it's been raining virtually non-stop for about 14 hours.
