That's crazy! The article says it has leveled off to the point that nothing is coming down the spillway. I wonder if that will give them an opportunity to do something about it?

Good morning folks.  Beautiful day in store here too but it is starting out pretty cold.  Took my walk for 2 miles anyways though. That is amazing about that hole in the dam.  I'm glad that I don't live below that thing...

Said first time that spillway was used in 50 years!

News just said the highways are blocked by evacuees and gas stations are clogged.  Also said they'll try to drop rocks from helicopters to fill the hole for now.

The evacuation order came suddenly, after statements a few days ago that things were not that dire.  I think impending rain later this week has changed their outlook.  What a mess.

Finally some football news (besides arrests).  Looks like CNS has settled on Brian Daboll as OC.  Hope that works out, because it'd be an excellent hire.

Meanwhile, the cold weather continues here at home.  It's 40 this morning, and rain is expected for most of the day.  Ugh.  No fishing again.  But looks like warm weather is returning this weekend.

Good morning folks.  Cold here too, 36 when I got to the office and went for my walk.  Felt nice though while walking.  I wish I could make a trip down to the sandy shore to do some fishing.  This weekend would be the perfect time too.  Can't though.  My 12 y/o is scheduled to have a colonoscopy done early on Monday morning.  Prayers greatly appreciated...   Pray
