Best chili recipe ever, and simple:

2 lbs browned hamburger meat (lean)
1 large onion, diced
2 cans 8 oz Bush's dark red kidney beans, juice and all
2 cans 8 oz Hunts diced tomatoes (original), juice and all
2 cans 8 oz Hunts tomato sauce (original)
3-4 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp garlic salt

Bring to boil and let simmer for an hour, covered. Stir occasionally.
Serve with Saltines or Oyster crackers.

Best chili you've ever had!

Mmmmm!  That sounds really good.  I think you could probably add a pound of bacon to that recipe and it would only get better...

Okay, I just sent LF a copy of the chili recipe.  We're just sitting here watching it snow.
YES, PREACHER, IT IS INDEED SNOWING HERE IN MISSISSIPPI. 

LOTS of wrecks near Memphis.  We're just covered with a dusting so far, but Google Map shows wrecks all around Memphis.  I'm just sitting.  The gun show is still planned to start tomorrow morning.  Our snow is supposed to last until 3AM (2.8" expected).

 

I already have cabin fever, 2.  I'm passing the time by backing up my computer.  Ugh!!

Well we had an O2 sensor go out on our car I was told by a friend, yesterday, so we got to run it down to the Texaco hopefully they can fix it sometime soon. RTR!

I was wrong about the size of the cans. Should be 16 oz instead of 8 oz.
