Good morning folks.  I'm back at work today after taking off Tuesday and Wednesday.  The youngest two boys had a Christmas program on Tuesday (last day of school) and Runt actually dressed as Elvis Presley when his class sang "Blue Christmas".  After that we took the kids to Nashville for the Vince Gill/Amy Grant Christmas Concert at the Ryman.  GREAT concert.  Didn't get home from that until 1:30 yesterday morning so I took that day off too and took care of some issues that needed attending too.

Hope everyone is safe and warm today...

Used to walk past the Ryman every morning on the way to work. Wish they hadn't moved the big show to the glitzy new place sorta out of town.

Great venue for a musical concert but the seating is horribly uncomfortable.  Oh, and security going in is tougher than TSA...Seriously, everything but the body cavity search...   Really!  They won't even allow you to carry a small pocket knife in there...     I've carried a pocket knife since I was about 9 y/o and even carried one to school from 6th grade on...

Sounds like a tough school, NALT. I used to carry an ice pick around the neighborhood to use for mumblety peg.

Another great day in Virginia.  We're just sitting around eating fresh pecans, satsumas, candies, and honey-baked ham.  I'll need a wheelbarrow for beach fishing next trip!!

Good morning everyone.  Should have great weather here today.  I hope you all have the same.  We are going this afternoon to the funeral of a beautiful 50 y/o lady who passed.  She taught school where our kids go and actually taught most of our kids.  She truly loved children and loved teaching.  She helped us our so much over the years.  She will truly be missed.  RIP Cindy...

Sad to hear such a young age passed away but if she was ready where she is today they have Christmas every day and multiplied several times over. God Bless. You all have fun we are going to get our meat today for the Christmas meal my wife promised me I could have, yes it is bologna and it will be fried. RTR!
