Well it is grand here today. I don't have to ride to Birmingham I canceled my VA doctor appointment. I told them yall got my gas money so now I don't have any. So the reading of my biopsies will have to wait till they decide to leave me some money for gas. Today I am going to rest. RTR!

They don't reimburse you for mileage any more?

They use to but they stopped that about 5 or 6 years ago. obamer had them set some new rules that now only retired soldiers get travel pay. It sure makes it rough but our Vets have a price to pay for using the VA medical. I am hearing from Vets that even Tri-Care doesn't pay what it use to because of obamer. RTR!

Well now I got one of those REC members out here helping repair my house. I may have to keep a check on these guys you know how they are about passing on information to CNS.  , Thanks SC but it don't do any good to get mad till we get somebody in office that actually cares about Vets. Jeff Sessions and Richard Shelby hasn't helped any of the Vets around where I live either so that is a bad plan. RTR!

I watched the craziness in Charlotte last night.  Mob violence is nuts. 
Then to my surprise Cam Newton chimed in:
"I’m an African-American. I am not happy how the justice has been kind of dealt with over the years. The state of oppression in our community. But we also, as black people, have to do right by ourselves. We can’t be hypocrites."

Whose side is he taking, both??

I was in meetings all day and last night. I knew nothing about it until Jamos called me this morning and filled me in. I won't get political here, but Jamis and I both agree that if something isn't done about these people going nuts with the rioting etc, we are headed for a civil war. Cam needs to shut is pie hole and play football. Nobody cares what he thinks.

Just taking a short trip to the Yocona River this morning with a friend.
BTW, Saturday I'm driving to Tuscaloosa to watch the game with Red Elephant.  I've gotta be in B'ham Sunday anyhow, so thought I'd enjoy being near the game (and in the cool of RE's den). 
We'll get to watch the Aub collapse too on Saturday night!!
