This is a good day. Just found out Dottie's niece has stage 2 stomach cancer. God, cancer runs rampid in her family, you know we had a daughter die of cancer at 33 years of age. This stuff is ruthless and I always think of anybody who could have this stuff. We have a warm beautiful day now, sure helps the bones, and I look forward to the bowl season. I am also curious as to how our recruiting will go this year? Hope you all are Blessed today. RTR!

Preacher, y'all have the worst luck! 

 

2STATER I don't call it luck. I believe that some how that we do not know it all will glorify our Heavenly Father in the end. Do I want the pain shoot no and I pray daily that if it has to be that JESUS will give us the strength to walk through it. He does. Still prayers are need. Like Derrick's grandmother, we must pray for her because I know his heart is broken. RTR!

Prayers this morning for Preacher and his family, and let's include Derrick Henry's grandmother.  Lots of suffering out there.

 

I'm packing everything for a gun show this weekend.  Looks like severe thunderstorms Sunday afternoon-evening.  Hunker down, all.

I loved the interview that the ESPN panel had with Henry last night. He was very humble, giving his teammates all the credit. But then one of them asked him, if in practice, the front 7 was able to shut him down? He responded, "Oh, I got Mine!!!"

Big day today as Mrs. J has decided she would like to be a deer hunter so we went deer hunting today. As beginners luck would have it, a very nice 8 point buck chasing a doe walked right past her and she didn't get a shot. As the buck was crossing the gas line I sounded like the dude on the television show  Swamp People as I was telling her to shoot, shoot ,shoot but nothing happened. it was so funny but she learned that deer hunting isn't as easy as the television shows make it out to be but we really had a good time and she wants to go back again early tomorrow.

Sorry to hear about your family illnesses Ricky and prayers are on the way.

Maybe when I retire.   

I played a lot of golf when I was young, from when I was 14 until I turned 30.  Only a handful of times since then.  I suspect the twisting will cause my back fits if I tried to golf now.

Looooong day at the gun show yesterday, then met LF for the Christmas symphony.  Beautiful music, children singing, cello solo, Chech snoring...

Then loooong drive home last night, and up again today for the Sunday edition of the gun show.

I'm watching the replay of the Heisman now...
