Good Tuesday morning! Well, vacay and days off are over and it's back to the gym. This ought to be fun after 2 weeks.

Yes, my brother, the gym can be a torture chamber.  The only thing that saved me yesterday was a covey of coeds using all of the machines.  I did manage to squeeze onto one after a while, but the TVs were blasting stock-market meltdowns (which ruined the mood).

Anyhow, I'm sore this morning.  Back at it today.

Sitting here having coffee with the CRS crew. I got up early this morning for some reason and got in 15 minutes on the stationary Bike as I am trying to lose weight with my Diabetic Diet and exercise. Since they put me on the needle for insulin I have been exercising more even some when my back hurts. I will admit sometimes it hurts so bad I can't do anything but sit around.
Beautiful day, it is cool and saw the prettiest Red Bird this morning we have 2 sets around here and 2 sets of Blue Birds. how do I know you wonder? I have seen 4 of them at a time at different times, lol. RTR!

Preacher, losing weight was the best thing I could have done for my blood sugar. Doc said I was borderline diabetic. After exercise and proper diet, my sugar levels are normal.

You've taken the first step by getting on the stationary bike. It will come easier to you the more you get on it. I know you have back issues that may hamper you a bit, but you'll be glad you did.

Applause E-Cred e-cred to you 2 for your support. It does help when people support each other. I once before my back went out, I certified as a Personal Trainer, I had to do the big time tests and CPR and the whole 9 yards. I am diabetic now and having to do the shots and yes, with the pain I am setting myself up to burn calories and to work around my back. I have honestly prayed about this I feel I have the go ahead. I need to work on my ROM, ( Range of Motion) a lot. I have started taking one step at a time. I this morning set my highest time of 15 minutes on the Bike with no pain but I stopped anyway. I have decided since my stomach is so big I have really adjusted my diet but I have a lot of cleaning up to do. Any advice you pick up or know of would be helpful and appreciated. Next week I will begin to exercise 2 times a day. Bike in the morning and lifting light high reps in the evening. just keep me in your prayers and I will try and keep you updated on how I come along. {Let's Roll) as the great statement was made on a plane over a Pennsylvania field one day. You mentioned earlier that you were on a diet to deal with your blood sugar. Is it "Sugar Busters" by any chance? That is what I used and the results were great. But use whatever diet your doctor tells you to use.

The exercise and the weights are just what you need. Muscle absorbs sugar and helps the process, so you are on the right track.

Y'all are always in our prayers and will continue to be.

, thanks but I don't know what the Sugar Busters diet is, but I have set up my own diet. I also took a nutrition course through ISSa and certified as a diet personal for bodybuilding and personal training.
I am going to a 60% 30% !05 diet with the portions as hand sized for 5 meals a day. My night time diet snack after my shot of insulin at night is Graham Crackers and peanut butter. Half cup of milk. I take a multivitamin and vitamin c and E and plus I eat sardines for my omega-3's. I am drinking approx. a gallon of water a day. I have really tightened down on my fluids and diet. I look forward to happens next, you know 2STATEr, I have already come from 248 lbs down to 214, with my diet I hope these exercises will even do more than that.  Cheesy RTR!
