Think I've got everything packed.  It's a long drive, but if all goes well I should be fishing in a Wyoming stream by Monday morning.  Good luck with your surf fishing, 2.

I have a daughter who is 14 now, but it seems like just yesterday when I was holding her in the hospital.

Wow, you're driving?  That's a heck of a drive.  I spent two weeks there years ago, but it was via airplane.

I drive it every year, and my car knows the way!  

When fishing, I find that I have more necessary items than I can fly (waders, hip boots, tackle box, rods, gun   , reels, clothes, food...).  Everything goes into the car.  I can be there in 2 days; it takes a full day to fly (if you ever get there by air).  

Bottom line, I don't mind the drive and it gives me control of the trip.  If I see something worthwhile along the way, I'll stop.  Otherwise, I drive straight through tomorrow to Cheyenne.  Sunday a short hop to Cody.  Monday I'm fishing.
