Good morning.  Still windy here, but we're catching plenty of fish and having fun nonetheless.  Belize is very nice.

Here's a pic of me playing with a Porcupine Fish.  I'd learned that they like their bellies stroked, so you can dive down, reach into their burrows, and they come to you for a rubbing.  Then they swell up.  Pretty funny.

Evening gents. Well, it became official today: I received my masters degree from Catholic University! I am done. Now, to work, and, crazily enough, I have been entertaining the idea of going after a PhD.

Don't do it CB, you're smart enough already.

My brother and I spent the day plumbing a 100 year old house for an elderly relative.  Every time I fixed a leak last week, something else would burst from the pressure.  We decided to just redo the whole thing now instead of going back out there and fixing one pipe at a time.  We didn't get finished but we at least got cold water to the kitchen sink, which is better than what he has had for several months now.

The biggest problem is the house is so close to the ground that you can't get under there.  We are going to run the new lines around in the attic and drop down into the bathroom.  Now that we got water into the house though I don't think it will take too much longer to do the rest.  If we can keep from having to stop every couple of hours to go to Lowe's that would help.

Congrats to you cbbama99. hard work has paid off. SC I use to do my own plumbing and I figured out that the work a plumber does was a lot more than I wanted to fool with, so I now hire it done. lol, RTR!

Good morning.  Coffee

Congrats to Master CB.

I feel your pain, SC.  Been there, broke and fixed that.  Plumbing is a worthy talent, and worth paying to have done (as Ricky said).  Good for you for the work!

Congrats, CB!!! Well done!!!

Hello from Myrtle Beach. Weather is awesome. My golf game?....not so much. Really, I can't complain. I shot a 79 in Greenville on Friday, but a 91 in N Myrtle Beach yesterday. The actual golf outing starts this afternoon in Pawley's Island at Pawley's Plantation. Long golf course. As Chech says, ugh!

Chech, looks like you are having a great time in Belize. Be sure to leave some fish for the locals.

Glad you're enjoying South Carolina, 2.  A 79 is FINE.  Keep it going.

We're having fun.  The wind is still blasting, so my flyrod keeps me wrapped in line daily.  But we've braved the huge swells for offshore fishing, and caught enough to have fresh fish daily.

Get this.  Yesterday we were snorkeling near a deep channel.  First a huge Loggerhead Sea Turtle swam up to us, and we got video.  Then a BLUE MARLIN came within 15' of us.  YES, a blue marlin!!  We have video.  That's crazy.

So, we're enjoying ourselves.  More later.

Morning gents. I am doing my parental duty and taking on two of the most dreaded words in the parents dictionary: FIELD TRIP. Little cbbama and his class are going to Fort McHenry and the Star Spangled Banner House. Mrs. cbbama gave me a choice: chaperone their field trip to a kids play or chaperone for the Fort McHenry trip. Ummm, seriously? I'm a history major, which one do you think I would choose? So, a sack lunch and a day with the kid. I don't worry about him, I just hope all the other little rugrats (I mean adorable little angels) don't get on my nerves.

Good for you, DADDY.  We'll all been there.
Several of us are progressing to making such trips as grandfathers!

Lots of fun here.  I took a couple of young women fishing yesterday afternoon.  Neither had ever caught a fish.  Well, check that off the list.  I'll post pics of the event later today.

The women weren't this young, but the catch was similar!
