Morning everyone. Coffee

It's cold and I'm still struggling with the sinus stuff, coughing and congestion makes it a little harder to sleep. Maybe today things will start to get better.

Temps are going on a roller coaster ride this week, 20-30's to day and 70's by Sunday. This looks like a great recipe for flu/bad cold symptoms.

Stay warm today and I hope everybody gets through this cold snap okay. Pray Cheesy

Pray for you JAMOS and hope you stay warm. Eat plenty of chicken soup and drink some of this old country mixture I know it will help. You know it: pint jar of White Liquor, honey, and lemon. Stir till it is good and mixed up and has that thickness to it. Take a tablespoon and lay back. If it needs take a second tablespoon about 1 hr later and get under something warm. You will sleep it off and you'll wake up feeling like a 6 yr old kid with energy.  Shocked RTR!

Well, I'm on my second jar now and my cold/flu symptoms are better but I'm having a problem now with keeping my balance. Also Mrs. J has asked me to quit calling her mommy. It seems to be working real good and I think I'll start mixing up the third jar  soon.

Ricky you are my hero and I'm still laughing at the prescription that you gave me and yes I can remember my grandmother keeping some of this medicine on hand at all times. Thank you for your thoughts and the good laugh, that made me feel better immediately.

You've been leaving out the honey and lemon, haven't you J?

Not to mention the prescription called for 1 or 2 tablespoons, not 3 jars.  Laughing

I think Preacher definitely got the sleeping part right. We haven't heard from him since posting about the 3rd jar.

If you don't want to go to all the trouble of mixing,

Wild Turkey American Honey works pretty well straight out of the bottle

That reminds me, I think Moonshiners comes on tonight.  Last week 2 of them blew up their still.  Laughing

The week before, they imploded the still be leaving it sealed up while it cooled down.  As the hot air inside cooled off, it created a suction that crumpled it like a coke can.

They will be lucky to live through the season if they don't stop sampling the product while they are working.

That's the challenge. Tickle ends up on his arse as much as being upright.

Good morning, #1 Alabama fans.

FINALLY the cold air is moving eastward, and a southerly wind is coming.  It's already 29 this morning, and will be in the 50s today.  Wooot.

It's actually colder here at 27 degrees. I'm looking forward to a warmup. :waving white flag:

I'll trade.  Our temperature has dropped to 28, plus 20-mph winds.  Crazy windy out there this AM.

Nah, that's ok.  Cheesy

As cold as it is, there is no wind currently. I was glad to see that game time temperature is predicted to be 67 degrees Saturday. That suits me just fine.
