Yep, NBC is blocked for me.  I guess I won't be able to watch Notre Dame Saturday.  Laughing  They can have NBC as far as I am concerned.

I wouldn't care, except for the Packers Thursday night.

I Googled the 'NBC blackout on Direct TV'.  Apparently it's widespread (Indiana, NC, Ohio, Tennessee, Alabama...).  This won't be resolved soon!

It's all about the Benjamins, as is most everything these days. They will get it resolved. They always do. The longest holdout I saw, involving DirecTV, was with the Weather Channel, but they kissed and made up, too.

At least I can watch it on the computer: NBC Sports.  That should work.  My backup is to watch via the NBC affiliate in Virginia (they have streaming).

Apparently, no Florida stations are affected. At least, not here. I think our local ABC affiliate went through this about 2 years ago.

I think it only involves the stations owned by RayCom.  Mostly NBC, but they do own Fox 6 in B'ham.  I saw an article that says they are asking double what they would normally get for these stations, which is why DirecTV balked.

 Boo E-Cred Raycom. They want us local broke country folks to pay double to see their news. Flooey!  Shocked, Well I will just read on their web site and I guess I watch Channel 13 from Birmingham NBC channel. I am however not the one that likes NBC very much. RTR!

This is the time of year where I wake up at 3:30 AM and remember that I forgot to do something, become wide awake, get up and go do what I forgot to do, and keep working (with an occasional post) until I'm ready to pass out around 9:30 AM.

Then tomorrow there's football.

Good morning everybody. Here is hoping you all have a Blessed day. Update for you: Mrs. Dottie is really feeling low and weak but we knew this was coming. I hope she can watch the game Saturday.
