Probably just 4-5.  A friend of mine has fainting goats.  Every time they get out of the pasture, they eat all of his shrubs to the ground (holly bushes, red tips, azaleas, anything).  Those suckers can eat!!

I figured it would take at least 145 goats to mow mine.  My riding mower has a 14.5 HP motor on it, and I figure a horse eats about 10 times as much as a goat.

Negatory, Farmer John.  A goat's metabolism greatly exceeds that of a horse, and a goat can ingest and process a surprising amount of your lawn.  Get a goat; you'll be surprised.

the horse would make bigger ones but the goat would
be more but smaller piles ? making clean up harder ?
