Just playing Devil's advocate (somehow sounds more appropriate when relating to the Barn's POV),  IF the allegations were true:

Lee said the man involved was not a booster nor a representative of the school.

Unless someone could prove that the money/car/whatever was directly related to his football abilities and choice of university, no one can do schit to BC or Bama. A person not serving as representative of the university (as identified by the NCAA) can do what they want to with their own d--n money, so long as it meets the second requirement.

Worst case, Bama would declare him ineligible and let the NCAA rule. Then I'd imagine BC would have the option to pay back the value of gifts received. In this case, I doubt he'd have to miss a game (like a certain fishing trip the Barners were all worked up about a couple of years ago).

I've read in other places people saying they were canceling their membership .

my main question ... when will Rivals pull the plug on Lee if this is true ?

Yes, Lee owns the Auburn site that is a Rivals partner.

I think that each Rivals site is independently owned and partners with Rivals.  It seems that Rivals could end that partnership.

That's one thing that is interesting about this.  Why did he make his allegations on the radio when he could have published on his own site.  HHHmmmmm, maybe because if he published on his own site, the site itself would be a party to a suit against him?  Makes sense to me.

he calls a small radio station in Mobile to air our dirty laundry  ?

something is fishy , the guys on WNSP don't seem to know him very well from what they said ...
