well now that things have settled and I didn't pull anything with my
southern white male Tiger Woods fist pumps  that dd said we all were famous for ....

did I hear right ? one of the announcers told a story about a player
said the player was so poor he had to steal chickens to put meat in his belly ?
who were they talking about and did he steal the chickens from the chicken farmer player's dad form down under ?

was this a typical Masters broadcast ? (or a hint of happy gilmore added for flavor?)

My outing at "Rock Creek" was un-Masters like. I birdied #1 and #18. All in between was very uneventful. I shot an 89 and missed about 8 putts inside of 6 feet.  Sad

How'd you do on that hole on the front with the setup tee shot, then across the water?

I think I probably bogeyed it.  I know my drive was weak, so I had a long 2nd shot.  But it's been a while.  I'd have remembered if I'd birdied it.  Grin

Looks just like it. I hit 3 wood & 3 wood and made it to the very bottom of the green where I 2 putted for par. That was hole #2. Hole #3 was the easiest on the course, a 108 yard par 3. I skulled a pitching wedge into the ditch in front of the green and double bogied. That started a string of double bogies of which it took about 5 holes to stop the bleeding. Back 9 was a little better.
