Coaching rumors

First of all, there is nothing wrong with me,  Except the fact that I cant go to A-Day because I may not get paid next week.  I just hate seeing our coaches come up for every rumor.  I hate the idea of having to beg coaches to stay.  I keep hearing about CAG rumored to go here and there...its just getting old.

It's actually just started.


We'll have to get used to it as long as we have the best coaches in the business.


IMO, it's a good problem to have.

Its an 18 hour trip.  I have A-Club tickets for every game next year.  Thinking about selling some of them.

1 way?  take a plane.  I think you're going a little overbaord, the furlough wont be long.

If the government is shut down on the 14th at midnight, We wont get paid till the first.  I will still have to go to work.  I just got an email so that I could disperse the information to my sailors.  I definitely am not overreacting on this.

Yep.  Retro pay doesnt make up for the prior two weeks hardships.  I dont really want to turn this into a political argument here.  I just hope that I can go.  My wife has been out of work and all that will do is continue our nightmare.

Probably so, but they should still be ashamed of themselves for making all of the families who work for the government have to worry about this.  The way the economy has been the last few years, a lot of folks have already gone through a good chunk of their savings.

Since the other government employees won't be getting retro pay for a shutdown, I'd bet the people actually working for Congress will be pushing very hard for them to get this resolved.

There might be some hope.  Since Congress is on the government payroll they will probably get serious about this after they finish posturing.
